A unique opportunity is available for an experienced and passionate Camp Manager/Chef to join an intimate luxury lodge based in Musina. This live-in position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys delivering exceptional guest experiences while overseeing daily lodge operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the lodge, ensuring high service standards, maintaining guest satisfaction, and preparing quality meals for guests.

This role requires a proactive individual who is organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote hospitality environment. Working closely with guests and lodge staff, the Camp Manager/Chef will play a key role in creating memorable experiences through outstanding hospitality, efficient lodge management, and exceptional food preparation. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing multiple responsibilities, including administration, guest relations, stock control, housekeeping oversight, and kitchen operations.

• Manage the daily operations of the lodge.
• Ensure exceptional guest service and guest satisfaction.
• Prepare high-quality meals for guests.
• Oversee housekeeping and lodge presentation standards.
• Manage staff schedules and daily team coordination.
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders when required.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist with administrative and reporting duties.
• Ensure smooth operation of all lodge facilities.
• Previous lodge, hotel, guest house, or hospitality management experience.
• Strong cooking and menu-planning abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a remote environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's licence advantageous.

Salary: R20,000 per month + Live In
