About the Role
Our client, a renowned hotel in Klerksdorp , is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Hotel Operations Manager . This key position involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, operational efficiency, and profitability across all departments. You will lead a diverse team, drive performance improvements, and contribute to the hotel's overall success and guest satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has a comprehensive understanding of hotel management and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Direct and manage all hotel operational departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve operational goals and enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for revenue enhancement.
- Lead, train, and motivate hotel staff to ensure high levels of performance and service quality.
- Monitor industry trends and implement best practices to maintain a competitive edge in the Klerksdorp market.
- Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in hotel management, with at least 3 years in an operations management role.
- Strong understanding of all hotel operational areas and P&L management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
