Reservations Agent - Vereeniging

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join their team in Vereeniging, Gauteng . This role is essential for managing room bookings, ensuring accurate information is provided to potential guests, and facilitating a smooth booking process. While a significant portion of the work can be performed remotely, occasional on-site presence will be required for team meetings, training, and specific administrative tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of reservation systems within the hospitality industry.

• Handle incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms.
• Process new bookings, modifications, and cancellations accurately in the reservation system.
• Provide information about hotel facilities, services, rates, and availability to potential guests.
• Upsell services and amenities to enhance the guest booking experience and increase revenue.
• Liaise with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met.
• Maintain guest records and ensure data accuracy and confidentiality.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel reservations or a similar role.
• Proficiency in using hotel reservation software and general office applications.
