About the Role

Our client is seeking a vibrant and experienced Bar Manager to lead operations for their popular bar and lounge in Soweto . You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the bar, including staff, inventory, beverage selection, and ensuring a lively and safe atmosphere for patrons. This role is crucial for driving customer satisfaction and profitability in a dynamic hospitality setting within Gauteng .

• Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage bar staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Develop and curate an appealing beverage menu, including signature cocktails, wines, and spirits.
• Manage inventory, control costs, and conduct regular stock takes to minimize waste and maximize profit.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations.
• Create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.

• Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a senior supervisory role within the bar or hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, and spirits, with experience in menu development.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience with inventory management and cost control.
