Our client, a bustling event venue and catering service in Vereeniging , is seeking a meticulous and organized Event Catering Coordinator to join their team on a part-time basis. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth execution of all catering services for various events hosted at the venue and off-site. You will be responsible for coordinating with clients, managing event setups, liaising with the kitchen and service staff, and ensuring that all event details are handled with precision and care.

This position is perfect for an individual with excellent organizational skills and a passion for creating memorable event experiences within the Gauteng region.

• Coordinate event logistics from initial client inquiry through to event completion, ensuring all details are accurately documented and communicated.
• Liaise with clients to confirm menu selections, staffing requirements, timelines, and any special requests, providing a high level of customer service.
• Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring they meet client expectations and venue standards.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, and service staff to ensure seamless event execution and timely delivery of food and beverages.
• Manage on-site event flow, troubleshoot any issues that may arise, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the event.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of catering supplies and equipment, reporting any needs or damages.

• Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, or customer service is advantageous.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and staff.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
