F & B Manager | Deputy GM

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong Food & Beverage management experience
• Proven operational management experience within hospitality
• Experience managing and developing departmental heads and teams
• Strong financial, budgeting and cost-control knowledge
• Excellent guest relations and service standards
• Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage, Front Office and Housekeeping operations
• Experience with Meetings & Events advantageous
• Ability to work flexibly and under pressure
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and emergency procedures

• Oversee Food & Beverage operations to maximise revenue and minimise costs
• Manage and coordinate departmental heads and operational teams
• Monitor departmental costs and take corrective action where required
• Assist with business planning, budgets and revenue strategies
• Oversee guest service and ensure high standards are maintained
• Coordinate Meetings & Events and in-house activities
• Work with the Executive Chef on menus, recipes, costing and F&B development
• Monitor purchasing and ensure quality standards are maintained
• Manage staff performance, training, development and employee relations
• Conduct regular property inspections and follow up on maintenance requirements
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, health and safety policies
• Attend to guest requests, enquiries and operational challenges
• Complete Manager on Duty shifts as required
• Assume responsibility for the overall operation in the absence of the General Manager

• Salary: R20,000 per month
