We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Guesthouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities- Manage guest bookings and process payments.
- Welcome guests and assist with check-ins and check-outs.
- Ensure the guesthouse operates smoothly and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas.
- Ensure rooms and guest areas are ready for arrivals.
- Liaise with housekeeping and maintenance regarding outstanding issues.
- Report maintenance problems and follow up until resolved.
- Handle invoices, payments and financial administration.
- Maintain excellent guest relations and service standards.
- 3+ years' relevant experience
- Previous experience in a guesthouse, hotel, lodge or hospitality management environment
- Experience with bookings and guest relations
- Experience handling payments, invoices and financial administration
- Ability to work under pressure during busy periods
- Good computer literacy
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Professional, hands-on and guest-focused approach
