Field Guide

Addo, South Africa

A premium Lodge in the Greater Addo region is looking for a dedicated and passionate Junior or Senior Field Guide who wants their career to make a genuine ecological and social impact.

• Conduct twice-daily game drives showcasing our diverse Big Five reserve.
• Lead specialized guest activities upon request, including nature walks, star gazing, and SAN rock art tours
  .
• Manage the check-in and check-out process for arriving and departing lodge guests.
• Provide backup support for staff transport as dictated by operational needs.
• Host guests warmly at the lodge when adverse weather prevents scheduled field activities.

• Valid Professional Driving Permit (
  PrDP
  ).
• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of local flora and fauna
  .
• Strong interpersonal and team-work abilities.
• A positive, adaptable working attitude and a genuine passion for sharing nature
  .

• Prior experience working within a 5-star luxury lodge environment
  .
• Strong understanding of and experience in wildlife conservation and relevant environmental issues.

Live in position working 21 days on 7 days off
