Tanya Serra Franschhoek An exciting opportunity for an accomplished hospitality leader to take overall operational responsibility for a prestigious, multi-faceted hospitality destination in the heart of
** Franschhoek**.This is a senior executive role for a commercially astute, hands-on leader who understands luxury hospitality, exceptional guest experiences and the importance of visible, inspiring leadership.
** The Role
** Leading the overall performance and guest experience across multiple hospitality divisions, including:
• Restaurant & Wine Tasting
• Events & Functions
• Accommodation & Reservations
• Leisure Activities
• Hospitality Operations & Support Functions You will work closely with senior management and departmental leaders to drive
** operational excellence, commercial performance, service standards and continuous improvement**.
** Key Focus Areas*
* • Lead and develop Hospitality HODs and management teams
• Drive operational standards and service excellence
• Oversee revenue, budgets, costs and profitability
• Monitor guest experience and maintain strong on-the-floor visibility
• Develop and implement SOPs and operational efficiencies
• Oversee recruitment, training, performance and succession planning
• Collaborate with Marketing, Revenue and Finance
• Manage key partnerships, projects and business development opportunities
• Ensure compliance, health & safety and operational risk management
• Foster a positive, respectful and high-performing team culture
** The Ideal Candidate*
* • 10–12+ years' hospitality operations experience
• Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership / executive management role
• Strong multi-department hospitality experience
• Proven commercial and operational acumen
• Luxury, boutique, wine estate or premium hospitality experience advantageous
• Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills
• Hands-on, visible and guest-focused
• Commercially astute, highly organised and solutions-driven
• A genuine passion for developing people and delivering exceptional experiences
