Guest Relations Officer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and personable Guest Relations Officer to enhance the guest experience at their hotel in Nelspruit . You will be the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring their needs are met and their stay is comfortable and memorable. This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing to the hotel's reputation for outstanding service.

• Welcome guests and assist with check-in/check-out processes, ensuring a smooth experience.
• Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Proactively anticipate guest needs and offer personalized services and recommendations.
• Liaise with various hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Gather guest feedback and relay it to management for service improvement.
• Maintain guest records and ensure the confidentiality of guest information.

• Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or a customer-facing role.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A friendly, positive, and empathetic attitude.
• Proficiency in hotel management software is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, in Nelspruit .
