An award-winning, ultra-luxury 5-Star Premium safari lodge is looking for a highly refined, charismatic, and meticulously organized Front of House Host . Operating with an ultra-exclusive capacity of just 8 guests in the main lodge alongside a private villa, our property delivers bespoke, completely unhurried, and highly personalised guest experiences.
As the premier inclusive and accessible luxury destination in the region, the ideal candidate will blend world-class premium hospitality with genuine warmth, ensuring every guest's touchpoint—from arrival to departure is flawlessly executed.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Relations & Hosting: Serve as the primary face of the lodge, warmly welcoming international high-net-worth guests, conducting properties orientations, and managing check-in/check-out administrative duties.
- Bespoke Itinerary Coordination: Liaise closely with the field guide and tracking teams to curate flexible, guest-paced safari activities, unique bush dining setups, spa treatments, and private excursions.
- Food & Beverage Supervision: Manage and overlook the service flow in the main lounge, bar, and dining deck, working alongside the culinary team to deliver flawless fine-dining table settings and high-tea presentations.
- Universal Access & Inclusive Hospitality: Enthusiastically facilitate our pioneering, award-winning Universal Accessibility standards. Ensure seamless assistance is naturally integrated into daily hosting for guests of all mobility levels.
- Stock & Administration: Manage front-of-house administrative needs, monitor curate guest preferences, track beverage inventories, and oversee the presentation of communal lodge spaces.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of Front of House or Guest Relations experience within a reputable 5-star luxury lodge or boutique boutique hotel environment.
- Hospitality Mindset: Highly presentable, well-groomed demeanor with an intuitive grasp of high-end hospitality etiquette and dynamic problem-solving.
- Technical
Skills:
Strong administrative capabilities, including computer literacy and familiarity with modern Property Management / POS systems. - Interpersonal Strength: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; additional language skills are an advantage.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work hospitality hours, weekends, and holidays in a remote bush environment.
