Hotel Duty Manager - Mid-Scale Hotel

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Duty Manager to oversee daily operations at their well-established mid-scale hotel in Vereeniging . This critical role ensures the smooth functioning of all hotel departments during your shift, focusing on exceptional guest service, staff supervision, and effective problem-solving. You will be the senior on-site representative, responsible for maintaining the hotel's standards and ensuring a positive experience for all guests in Gauteng .

• Oversee and manage all hotel operations during assigned shifts, including front desk, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance.
• Ensure the highest standards of guest service are maintained, addressing guest concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
• Supervise and motivate on-duty staff, providing clear direction and support.
• Handle cash, float management, and end-of-day procedures accurately.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and implement established protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of the hotel to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to brand standards.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the hotel industry.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Strong understanding of hotel operations across various departments.
