Guest Relations Manager

Our client is seeking a polished and attentive Guest Relations Manager to join their hospitality team in Welkom . You will be the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable. This role involves anticipating guest needs, resolving issues promptly, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of customer service excellence, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of hospitality within the property.

• Welcome and assist guests, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process.
• Proactively address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, anticipating their needs and preferences.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve service issues.
• Gather guest feedback and use it to identify areas for service improvement.
• Manage VIP guest experiences and special requests with discretion and efficiency.

• Proven experience in a guest-facing role, preferably in guest relations or front desk management.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English and Afrikaans.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
• Proficiency in hotel management software (PMS).
• A commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and hospitality.
• A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related discipline is an advantage.
