Job Description Maintenance & Housekeeping Couple – Luxury Safari Lodge – Hoedspruit, MpumalangaKendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance & Housekeeping Couple to join a prestigious luxury safari lodge in Hoedspruit, Mpumalanga.
This live-in opportunity is ideal for a well-suited couple with complementary hospitality experience, with one partner responsible for maintenance and workshop-related duties and the other overseeing housekeeping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the lodge, including preventative maintenance and general repairs.
Ensure all facilities, equipment and guest areas are maintained to a high operational standard.
Manage maintenance schedules, identify faults and coordinate repairs where required.
Assist with workshop duties and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained.
Supervise and coordinate housekeeping operations to ensure consistently high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Manage housekeeping staff, allocate daily duties and monitor performance.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces.
Ensure lodge standards, hygiene requirements and operational procedures are consistently maintained.
