Hotel Concierge

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and resourceful Hotel Concierge to enhance the guest experience at their premier establishment in Vereeniging. You will be the go‑to person for guests, providing personalized recommendations and assistance with everything from dining reservations and transportation to local tours and entertainment. This role demands impeccable customer service skills, an in-depth understanding of the local area, and a proactive approach to fulfilling guest requests, ensuring every stay is memorable and seamless.

• Assist guests with a wide range of requests, including restaurant bookings, theatre tickets, travel arrangements, and activity planning.
• Provide expert recommendations on local attractions, dining, and entertainment tailored to guest preferences.
• Manage and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of local services and amenities.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to arrange services for guests.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and efficiency.
• Ensure the concierge desk is well‑presented and information provided is accurate and current.

• Previous experience as a Hotel Concierge or in a similar guest‑facing role within the hospitality industry.
• Extensive knowledge of the local area, including attractions, dining, and cultural events.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm and efficient under pressure.
• Proficiency in relevant concierge software and general computer literacy.
