A leading hotel group with locations in Mbombela, Emalahleni, Ermelo, Secunda, Standerton, Sandton and Cape Town are looking to employ a meticulous and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. South African Citizens only
POSITION SUMMARYWe are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Human Resources Manager to champion the employee experience at Khayalami Hotel Group. The ideal candidate is a tech-driven multitasker who thrives in the fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining impeccable order and structural compliance. You will transition our HR functions into the digital age, streamline daily operations, and seamlessly juggle recruitment, employee relations, training, and performance management.
You must bring high energy to our culture and high precision to our administrative workflows.
- Spearhead the digital transformation of the HR department, maximizing the use of HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) for payroll prep, benefits administration, and performance tracking.
- Maintain meticulous, legally compliant, and highly organized digital employee records.
- Automate routine HR tasks (like onboarding paperwork, leave requests, and scheduling shifts) to improve efficiency and reduce human error.
- Ensure absolute "Good Order" by developing, updating, and strictly enforcing HR Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for multiple departments simultaneously, from entry-level hospitality staff to management roles.
- Utilize modern, tech-forward recruiting strategies, including social media sourcing, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and digital interviewing tools.
- Seamlessly pivot between daily administrative tasks, urgent employee relations issues, and long-term strategic HR planning without dropping the ball.
- Act as a dynamic cultural ambassador for the Khayalami Hotel Group, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work environment.
- Design and deploy e-learning modules and digital training platforms to upskill hotel staff efficiently.
- Mediate workplace conflicts with empathy and structure, ensuring swift, fair, and documented resolutions.
- Analyze HR data (turnover rates, engagement surveys, time-to-hire) to provide actionable insights to the executive team.
- Education:
A Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management - Experience:
Minimum of 4+ years in Human Resources management, ideally within the hospitality or service industry. - Expertise:
Employment Relations, Conflict Resolution, and Team Building, Communication - Mindset:
Highly dynamic and adaptable. Capable of maintaining focus and exceptional organization while managing multiple competing priorities. - Tech-Savvy:
Proven experience implementing or managing modern HR software. Proficient in digital workflow management. - Skills:
Proven leadership, organizational, recruitment and Employee Onboarding. Impeccable attention to detail and "good order." Strong understanding of South African labour laws and compliance regulations. - Code 8/10 Driver’s licence.
