This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious private client solicitor to join our Private Client team in our Hereford office. Our private client team is one of the largest and most experienced teams in the country and a core part of the firm. This private client team cover the full spectrum of private client matters to include wills, trusts, tax, estate planning, probate and estate administration, often with an agricultural focus.

As part of this team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with high net worth individuals, business owners, private family trusts, often working with families across generations. Our private client lawyers are renowned for their depth of knowledge and members of the team hold STEP qualifications, are part of Lifetime Lawyers and recognised in The Legal 500, Chambers High Net Worth Guide, Spears and ALA.

You’ll be joining this supportive team where there will be plenty of opportunity for progression, development and learning from those around you. You will be a qualified solicitor, or legal executive, with up to 4 years’ experience in private client. You will be comfortable managing your own caseload of wills, probate, LPAs, trusts, estates and tax. It’s important that you have a good eye for detail and be able to demonstrate excellent client care.

You’ll be encouraged to get involved in business development and networking, both internally and externally. We encourage all members of the team to become full members of STEP and provide support to those working towards qualification. Candidates who already hold STEP, or who are willing to work towards it, will be welcomed.

• 0 - 4 years PQE
• Experience of Private Client work
• An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and successfully manage client relationships
• Excellent technical ability and drafting skills
• IT proficiency
• To demonstrate teamwork and relationship building skills
• To have strong commercial acumen
• To be proactive, ambitious and organised with a keen eye for detail
