Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the dairy farm, including animal care, feeding, and milking

Oversee and coordinate breeding and calving programs

Monitor herd health and implement health protocols

Manage herd records and data management systems

Implement and maintain strict biosecurity and health and safety practices

Supervise and manage farm staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation

Manage farm budgets, expenses, and financial record-keeping

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards

Stay updated with the latest advancements and best practices in dairy farming

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Dairy Farm Manager

Degree or diploma in Agriculture or related field

Strong knowledge of dairy farming practices and herd management

Excellent leadership and communication skills

Experience in managing farm budgets and financial record-keeping

Ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery

Valid driver’s license
