Tekkie Town Area Sales Manager Vacancies

Tekkie Town is inviting qualified and motivated candidates to apply for the Area Sales Manager position, with several openings available. The closing date to submit your application is November 4, 2025.

If you’re based in Mokopane and have experience managing multiple retail stores, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. As Area Sales Manager, you will lead the operations of a C-Grid Area, overseeing more than 10 stores. This role involves managing teams remotely, guiding Store Managers to meet sales targets, and ensuring the entire area performs exceptionally.

What You Need to Qualify
  • You must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Having a diploma in Retail, Business, or Marketing Management will give you an advantage.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a major retail chain, including 2 years in senior management.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate sales teams.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and sometimes stay away from home.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Your Main Responsibilities
  • Supporting Store Managers in daily operations to ensure smooth running stores.
  • Checking how stores and individuals are performing against goals.
  • Identifying and hiring new staff when needed and training them.
  • Developing current staff with training and planning career growth to build a strong team.
  • Driving the sales team to reach and exceed sales budgets.
  • Managing risks and reducing stock losses in your area.
  • Using data to measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Spotting new market trends and growth opportunities.
  • Recommending new products or sales methods to improve customer satisfaction.

This position reports directly to the Divisional Manager and is part of the bigger Tekkie Town Operations team under Pepkor Speciality.
