Mineral Resource Manager

Job Description

One of our top clients within the mining sector are seeking highly experienced, qualified, and skilled Mineral Resource Manager based in Mpumalanga.

To be considered for this role, you will meet the following minimum requirements:

• BSc Honors (Geology) or BEng Mining

• Mineral Resources Management

• Extensive understanding of applicable legislative requirements

Knowledge and

Experience:

• 8 - 10 Years Relevant experience in a coal mining operation

• Practical experience in the following areas –

• Manage a team with a variety of technical disciplines.

• Leading the MRM team towards high performance by establishing the required culture

• Sign-off as competent person for the annual Resource and Reserve

• Maximizing value from the resource to the customer

• Convert strategy and business plan into executable process improving plans.

• Performance improvement of resource management models and equipment

• Total process focus and understanding

• Financial management of capital and operational budget

• Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) management

• People Management

• Reporting
