Overview

Position: Shift Manager

Hire Resolves client is seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Manager to oversee the operations in Germiston, Gauteng. The Shift Manager will be responsible for managing a team of employees, ensuring that daily production targets are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers on the production floor
  • Ensure that production targets are met while maintaining quality standards
  • Train and develop team members to improve performance and efficiency
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain team to ensure adequate stock levels
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a safe work environment
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management
  • Handle any employee issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner

    • Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Shift Manager or similar role in a manufacturing setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
