Site Operations Manager; East Rand

Qualification

• Matric / Senior Certificate
• Mining or Civil Engineering qualification (advantageous)

• Site Operations Manager experienced in the mining environment with open-cast mining and rehabilitation and earthmoving operations.
• Experience in load‑haul, screening and reclamation sites 2.6.1 Legal Appointee.
• Valid driver's license and relevant certifications (e.g. Safety, First Aid, Legal Liability etc.)
• Knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act and Mining Safety Regulations.
• Proficient in site reporting and project management tools.

• Manage and coordinate all on‑site mining, rehabilitation and earthmoving activities.
• Lead, supervise, and support site personnel and employees (sub‑contractors).
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, progress reports, planning shifts, etc.
• Liaise with clients, engineers and senior management.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, COP's and toolbox talks.
• Monitor equipment usage and coordinate maintenance equipment safety and effective usage.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
