Costing Manager

Our client is a mining giant based in North West, looking for an experienced Costing Manager to lead the costing function and partner with operational leadership to drive financial performance across the business. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys combining commercial thinking with operational finance. You'll work closely with senior leadership, influencing budgeting, Life of Mine planning, capital management and cost optimisation initiatives that directly impact the profitability and long-term sustainability of the operation.

• Lead the full costing and cost control function
• Manage Life of Mine (LOM) costing and financial planning
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOM) and mining costing models
• Drive budgeting, forecasting and cost performance reporting
• Monitor operational costs and identify efficiency opportunities
• Oversee capital expenditure planning and capital management
• Partner with operational leadership to improve financial performance
• Lead and develop the costing team while strengthening financial controls

• Bachelor's Degree (BCom) essential
• 5 to 10 years' experience in a costing-focused role
• Mining industry experience is essential
• Strong experience in cost control, LOM costing, capital management and budgeting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Sage experience
• Strong leadership, presentation, communication, and analytical skills
