CAREER OPPORTUNITY
POSITION : FACILITIES MANAGER
SITE : BOKSBURG (DRONA)
DIVISION : DRONA
REPORTING TO : HEAD OF FINANCE DRONA
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To plan, manage and optimise all site facilities, infrastructure and service level agreements across Corruseal, ensuring that the physical environment, utilities, compliance standards and support-service SLAs enable safe, efficient and uninterrupted manufacturing and supply chain operations and upkeep of building assets—R22 safety gap closure support, disaster recovery and regulatory compliance (ISO
9001, FSSC, FSC).
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilities Management & Infrastructure
- Oversee day-to-day management of all site facilities including buildings, utilities (electrical, water, compressed air, HVAC), fire suppression system maintenance, solar maintenance and infrastructure
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all facility assets to minimise unplanned downtime.
- Conduct regular site inspections; ensure corrective actions are logged, tracked and closed within agreed time frames.
SLA Management & Contract Compliance
- Draft, negotiate and manage all facilities-related service level agreements and contracts with external service providers.
- Monitor vendor performance against agreed SLAs; compile monthly scorecards and escalate non-conformances.
- Conduct quarterly SLA review meetings with key service providers and document action plans.
Manage maintenance functions for all Gauteng buildings
- Ensure building compliance to all internal and external compliance standards
- Manage routing maintenance functions – lighting, doors, demarcations, offices, plumbing, drainage, gutters, cleaning, etc.
Risk and Insurance management
- Develop a property risk management plan per site
- Comply with all insurance requirements
Project management and cost management
- Support during the planning and execution of any building related projects
- Issue and evaluate RFQs for new or renewed service contracts in line with procurement policy.
- Develop the annual facilities and SLA budget; track monthly expenditure and report on variances.
- Identify cost-saving initiatives without compromising service levels or compliance obligations.

REQUIRED MINIMUM AND ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Diploma or Degree in Facilities Management, Property Management, Engineering or equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification.
- 5 or more Years in Facilities and infrastructure management, SLA and contract management.
- Understanding of OHS Act and statutory compliance (pressure vessels, electrical, etc.) ISO
9001, FSSC, FSC compliance standards. - Exposure in Disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- 5+ years in a facilities management role within a manufacturing or industrial environment will be an advantage
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
