About the Role
Our client is seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Telecoms Project Manager to lead critical initiatives from their Benoni office. This role demands exceptional leadership to oversee the end-to-end delivery of complex telecommunications projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards across Gauteng . You will be responsible for stakeholder management, risk mitigation, and team coordination, driving successful outcomes for major infrastructure deployments and service rollouts.
The ideal candidate has a proven history of managing large-scale telecom projects and possesses strong organizational and communication skills.
- Plan, execute, and finalize telecoms projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, resource allocation, and manage project teams.
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract compliance.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project management , with at least 5 years focused on the telecoms industry .
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi-faceted projects.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with project management software and tools.
