About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Telecommunications Project Manager to lead and execute complex projects in Benoni . This role requires overseeing the planning, implementation, and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage cross-functional teams, stakeholder communications, and risk assessment, driving successful project outcomes within the fast-paced telecoms industry.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and organizational skills, committed to delivering impactful telecommunications solutions.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.
- Manage project execution, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and lead project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular status updates.
- Ensure all projects adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements within the telecoms sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion within the telecoms industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from initiation to closure.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
