About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Electrical Project Manager to oversee key electrical projects in the Vereeniging area. This leadership role involves managing all phases of electrical projects, from initial planning and design through to execution, commissioning, and handover. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in managing complex electrical infrastructure projects within industrial or construction environments.
- Lead and manage electrical projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
- Oversee the procurement of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions proactively.
- Ensure all project activities comply with relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and quality requirements.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management, with a significant portion focused on electrical projects.
- Proven experience in managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methodologies, and project management software (e.g., MS Project).
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
