Sales Representative – Transport & Freight (Super Link / Forward Freight Experience)

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative with strong experience in the transport and logistics sector, specifically in super link operations or freight forwarding. The ideal candidate will have a solid network within the industry, proven ability to generate new business, and an understanding of road freight operations and customer service requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Source, identify, and secure new transport and freight clients (super link and local).
- Manage existing customer relationships and ensure excellent service delivery.
- Prepare and present client quotations, proposals, and transport solutions.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and service agreements.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure service efficiency.
- Conduct regular market analysis to identify new opportunities and competitor activity.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities using CRM systems.
- Matric (Grade 12) essential;
Diploma in Sales, Logistics, or Supply Chain will be an advantage. - 3–5 years’ proven sales experience in the transport or freight forwarding industry.
- Strong understanding of super link truck operations, load planning, and delivery routes.
- Established client base or network within the transport/freight industry (advantageous).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance targets.
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Customer-centric and target-driven.
- Self-motivated with high energy levels.
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player with a proactive attitude.
