We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Solar Sales Business Development Executive to drive new business opportunities, expand our client base, and grow market presence for our solar energy solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, knowledge of the renewable energy industry, and a proven ability to build long-term relationships.
This role requires a combination of business development, technical understanding of solar solutions, and exceptional client engagement skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial solar markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and key stakeholders
- Conduct client consultations, site assessments, and feasibility studies
- Develop tailored solar solutions and proposals for clients
- Negotiate contracts, manage pricing, and close deals effectively
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and provide regular sales reports
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in renewable energy or technical solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Technical understanding of solar energy systems and renewable energy solutions (advantageous)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and resilient
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
- Professional approach and business acumen
