Our client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Paint Sales Representative to join their growing team. This role focuses on developing business within new construction and development projects, promoting decorative interior and exterior paint products, and building strong, long-term client relationships.
The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding market presence, achieving sales targets, and positioning the company as a trusted supplier within the construction and development sector.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage strong, long-term relationships with contractors, developers, architects, and construction professionals
- Promote and sell decorative interior and exterior paint products in a professional and persuasive manner
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within development projects
- Maintain existing client accounts with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Prepare and present accurate product proposals and quotations
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets through disciplined planning and execution
- Conduct regular site visits and provide reliable product guidance
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity
- Maintain accurate sales records and reports in an organised manner
- Represent the company confidently and professionally at all times
- Proven sales experience in paint or related building products
- Strong background in the construction and development industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented approach
- Ability to work independently with strong time-management and organisational skills
- Reliable, accountable, and committed to delivering quality service
- Professional appearance and strong personal presentation
- Sound understanding of decorative paint applications (interior and exterior)
- Valid driver’s licence
