Role OverviewThe Medical / Pharmaceutical Sales Representative will be responsible for promoting and selling a portfolio of pharmaceutical and healthcare products within an assigned territory. This role focuses on building strong professional relationships with healthcare providers, driving product uptake, and achieving agreed sales targets while ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesPromote and detail pharmaceutical and healthcare products to doctors, pharmacists, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare professionals
Develop and execute territory plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and decision-makers
Deliver accurate, compliant product information and clinical education
Identify new business opportunities and grow market share within the assigned territory
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback
Attend medical congresses, product launches, and training sessions as required
Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and CRM records
Ensure full compliance with ethical, regulatory, and company sales standards
2–5 years proven experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or healthcare sales
Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets
Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical sales environment and healthcare market dynamics
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strong relationship-building and influencing abilities
Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a field-based role
Strong planning, organisational, and time-management skills
High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct
Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems
Valid drivers license is essential
Own reliable vehicle required
Fuel allowance / fuel card will be provided
Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory
