New Business Development
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and lead follow-ups.
- Target commercial, industrial, retail, residential estates, and body corporates.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Conduct site visits and security assessments to understand client risks and requirements.
- Present tailored security solutions including:
- Access control systems
- CCTV & video surveillance
- Alarm systems
- Intercoms and gate automation
- Biometric and time & attendance systems
- Work closely with technical teams to design effective and compliant solutions.
- Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and scope documents.
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and service level agreements.
- Close deals and ensure a smooth handover to installation and project teams.
- Manage and grow existing client accounts.
- Upsell and cross-sell maintenance contracts, upgrades, and additional systems.
- Maintain long-term client relationships and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and forecasting on the CRM system.
- Track project progress post-sale and assist with client communication where required.
- Report on market trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities.
- Ensure solutions comply with PSIRA, POPIA, and industry regulations.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Sales, marketing, or business-related qualification.
- Security industry training or certifications.
- PSIRA registration (advantage, depending on company requirements).
- 3–5+ years’ experience in:
- B2B or B2C security sales
- Access control, CCTV, or electronic security systems
- Technical or solution-based sales
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling integrated security solutions is highly advantageous.
