Technical Sales Representative

R 25 000 - R 30 000 Basic Plus Commission (+ benefits)

An established and reputable company within the Safety Gear industry is seeking a driven Sales Representative to champion sales growth across the KZN region
. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated sales professional to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact.

The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of industrial sales experience
, with a proven ability to build strong relationships, manage key accounts, and drive territory growth. Experience in fall arrest or related safety products will be highly advantageous.

As the Sales Representative, you will be the territory expert
, responsible for driving sales growth by managing existing distributors, identifying new opportunities, and promoting the product range directly to end users.

• Managing distributors through regular engagement and relationship-building
• Meeting or exceeding sales targets and strategic goals
• Delivering end-user presentations on the company’s product range
• Identifying and appointing potential new distributors
• Ensuring the territory achieves its sales, profitability, and growth objectives
• Preparing accurate weekly reports
• Presenting and demonstrating product features, benefits, and new innovations
• Providing training and technical support to distributors
• Collaborating with product specialists to meet market needs
• Maintaining detailed and up-to-date client records

• Minimum 5 years industrial sales experience (fall arrest experience advantageous)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s Degree would be advantageous
• Must be willing and prepared to travel
• Self-motivated sales professional with the ability to work independently and within a team
