Job Description

A well‑established and reputable automotive dealership in Potchefstroom is seeking to appoint motivated and customer‑focused Used Vehicle Salespersons to join their dynamic sales team.

About the Role

We are looking for energetic, target‑driven individuals with a passion for sales and the automotive industry. The ideal candidates will have strong people skills, a positive attitude, and previous experience in vehicle sales - ideally with exposure to the Toyota brand.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Engage with customers, understand their needs, and provide suitable vehicle options
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and maintain high closing ratios
  • Manage leads, follow‑ups, and customer relationships via CRM systems
  • Assist with vehicle display, merchandising, and online listing updates
  • Conduct test drives and ensure excellent customer service throughout the sales process
  • Ensure correct documentation, compliance, and deal processing
  • Maintain product knowledge and stay up to date with stock availability

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in vehicle sales (used‑car experience advantageous)
  • Toyota brand experience would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
  • Strong negotiation and deal‑closing ability
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Professional, presentable, and self‑motivated
