Technical External Sales Rep required in Germiston.

A well-established company based in Wadeville is seeking a driven and technically minded External Sales Representative to grow and manage client relationships while delivering tailored technical solutions.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in the field, understands technical products, and enjoys meeting targets.

Afrikaans and English essential. Own vehicle required.

• Matric required
• 2–5 years’ experience in technical external sales (industrial, engineering, electrical, mechanical, or related sectors)
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and explain products/solutions
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Strong time management and self-discipline

• Identify, develop, and manage new and existing customer accounts
• Conduct on-site client visits, product demonstrations, and technical consultations
• Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and tenders
• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions
• Collaborate with internal teams (technical, procurement, and admin) to ensure seamless delivery and after-sales support
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback
