External Sales Rep (Technical Sales) – Germiston.

Are you a driven sales professional with a technical background in the aluminium industry? Our client, based in Germiston, is seeking a motivated External Sales Representative to grow their customer base, develop new business opportunities, and maintain strong client relationships.

This role is ideal for an energetic individual who enjoys being on the road, identifying opportunities, and providing customers with expert product knowledge and solutions.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Minimum 3–5 years’ external sales experience
• Technical sales experience within the aluminium industry is highly benificial
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating new business
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers
• Conduct client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations
• Provide technical advice and product recommendations to customers
• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities
• Negotiate pricing and terms with clients
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities
