FT Contract - Technical Sales Representative - Kempton Park - South Africa

We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to join our team in the consumer electrical industry.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and a passion for sales, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to customers.

A Technical Sales Representative in the Consumer Electrical industry must possess a unique blend of technical expertise and sales acumen to effectively promote and sell electrical products to consumers. The role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems and products, as well as the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with retail clients to promote and sell consumer electrical products
  • Provide technical expertise and support to customers on products, including troubleshooting and product recommendations
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as product development and marketing to ensure customer needs are met
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge to effectively sell products to customers
  • Attend trade shows and conferences to promote products and build relationships within the industry
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and goals set by management
  • Identify potential clients, build relationships, and generate leads to drive sales
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features and benefits
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and quotes to potential clients
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and competitors to inform sales strategies
  • Flexibility to travel to client sites as needed

  • Strong technical background in consumer electrical products
