External Sales Consultant Location: Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha)
Industry: Food Services / Hospitality Sales
Job Purpose: To drive sales growth by securing new business, maintaining and expanding existing client relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service within the food services and hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling and networking
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
- Conduct regular client visits to ensure service excellence and customer satisfaction
- Promote and sell products/services to meet and exceed sales targets
- Prepare and present sales proposals and quotations
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
- Resolve customer queries and provide effective solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
- Matric (Grade 12) – essential
- Relevant tertiary qualification – advantageous
- Previous sales experience – advantageous (preferably in food services/hospitality)
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle – essential
- Willingness to travel within the region
- Strong sales drive with a “go-getter” attitude
- Self-motivated and target-driven
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Strong customer service orientation
