PARTS SALESMAN
Dura Equipment Sales is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Salesman to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling earthmoving equipment parts, assisting customers with parts identification, preparing quotations, managing orders, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role requires strong product knowledge, sales ability, and a passion for supporting customers in the construction, mining, and agricultural sectors.
Key Responsibilities- Assist customers with identifying and sourcing the correct parts.
- Generate quotations and process sales orders.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Promote LOVOL and aftermarket parts to existing and new customers.
- Follow up on quotations and outstanding orders.
- Manage customer inquiries via telephone, email, and walk-in sales.
- Assist with stock control and inventory management.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing and availability.
- Ensure timely delivery of parts to customers.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
- Work closely with the workshop, service department, and sales team.
- Minimum Grade 12.
- Previous experience in earthmoving, agricultural, mining, truck, or heavy equipment parts sales.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, engine, undercarriage, wear parts, and general earthmoving components.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office and parts management systems).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Valid driver's license.
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Knowledge of LOVOL equipment.
- Experience in aftermarket parts sales.
- Existing customer relationships within the construction, mining, or agricultural industries.
- Understanding of equipment maintenance and repair requirements.
