Our client, a leading logistics company is seeking a motivated New Business Development Officer committed to expanding their market footprint and building robust client relationships, specifically in the Health & Beauty industry.
Where You'll Make an Impact:- Identify new business sales leads and explore opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of potential clients' businesses and tailor solutions to add value
- Engage with prospective clients, present compelling propositions, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets
- Negotiate rates aligned with company strategies and industry standards
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks and documentation
- Support onboarding processes for new clients and maintain strong ongoing relationships
- Update and manage the CRM system to track progress and client interactions
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales KPIs and targets
- Monitor market trends and industry best practices to inform strategic decisions
- Contribute to strategic account management planning and stakeholder engagement
- Align sales activities with regional operations and support seamless client transitions
- 1 to 5 years of relevant sales or business development experience in the logistics industry
- Strong skills in negotiation, planning, and relationship building
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market and client data
- Proficiency in sales techniques, business acumen, and time management
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to professional development
- A valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
- CRM systems for effective client and sales management
- Market trends within the Health & Beauty sector
