Our client, a leading logistics company is seeking a motivated New Business Development Officer committed to expanding their market footprint and building robust client relationships, specifically in the Health & Beauty industry.

Where You'll Make an Impact:
  • Identify new business sales leads and explore opportunities for upselling and cross‑selling
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of potential clients' businesses and tailor solutions to add value
  • Engage with prospective clients, present compelling propositions, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Negotiate rates aligned with company strategies and industry standards
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks and documentation
  • Support onboarding processes for new clients and maintain strong ongoing relationships
  • Update and manage the CRM system to track progress and client interactions
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales KPIs and targets
  • Monitor market trends and industry best practices to inform strategic decisions
  • Contribute to strategic account management planning and stakeholder engagement
  • Align sales activities with regional operations and support seamless client transitions
Requirements:
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant sales or business development experience in the logistics industry
  • Strong skills in negotiation, planning, and relationship building
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market and client data
  • Proficiency in sales techniques, business acumen, and time management
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to professional development
  • A valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
Familiarity with the following:
  • CRM systems for effective client and sales management
  • Market trends within the Health & Beauty sector
  • Strategic account management practices
