MFC Financial Advisor

Job Description

This role provides advice on a specific range of products to a specific allocated market and is individually accountable for achieving results through their own efforts.

This position is a FAIS Category B eligible role. Successful candidates must comply with all FAIS requirements, including the Fit and Proper requirements of Honesty and Integrity (e.g., be clear of any offence relating to fraud, dishonesty and/or any professional misconduct) as well as competence and relevant qualifications.

• Financial Advice
  • Provides advice in line with the customer value proposition & compliance framework.
  • Works in specific allocated markets.

  • Individually accountable for managing own time, tasks and output quality for periods of 1 day to a maximum of 3 months.

  • Engages in limited prospecting.

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Valid Driver’s licence and Own Car.
• FAIS Compliance.
• Clear criminal and credit check.
• Minimum of 3 years working experience (preferably in sales).
• Computer literacy (MS Word, Powerpoint and Outlook).
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Presentation skills an added advantage.
