Technical Sales Representative

This senior‑level Technical Sales role is ideal for a highly experienced, equipment‑focused sales professional with strong engineering knowledge and proven ability to manage large‑scale projects. The successful candidate will drive tender bids, proposals, and client relationships while working closely with internal sales teams and managing two indirect reports. Experience in modular structures, mining, or mineral processing will be highly advantageous.

• Technical Sales Leadership — Lead technical sales activities for modular process engineering solutions

• Tender & Proposal Management — Drive tender bids, proposal development, and client submissions

• Large Project Handling — Manage multiple large‑scale projects (R30m–R50m) simultaneously

• Client Relationship Building — Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients

• Equipment‑Focused Sales — Sell modular equipment, systems, and engineered solutions

• Internal Coordination — Liaise with office‑based sales teams for quotations and technical inputs

• Team Oversight — Manage and guide two indirect reports

• Industry Engagement — Engage with mining and mineral processing clients to understand technical needs

• Market Development — Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence

• Engineering Degree — Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

• Technical Sales Experience — 5–10 years’ experience in senior technical sales

• Modular Structures Knowledge — Experience in modular structures (highly beneficial)

• Equipment Sales — Must be equipment‑focused, not service‑focused

• Project Management — Ability to manage R30m–R50m projects and handle three at a time

• Mining/Mineral Processing — Highly beneficial industry experience

• Leadership — Experience managing or guiding technical sales teams
