Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Consultant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with clients within the food services and hospitality industry, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
The ideal candidate will have proven sales experience within the food services, hospitality, catering, restaurant, hotel, or related industry and must be based in Uitenhage or Despatch.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the food services and hospitality sector.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
• Conduct regular client visits and presentations.
• Promote and sell the company's products and services.
• Generate leads and actively prospect for new business.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales presentations.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with clients where required.
• Achieve agreed sales targets and business development objectives.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
• Follow up on leads, quotations, and potential sales opportunities.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Proven sales experience within the food services, hospitality, catering, restaurant, hotel, or related industry.
• A strong existing understanding of the hospitality and food services market will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to generate new business and meet sales targets.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Own reliable vehicle – essential.
• Must be based in Uitenhage or Despatch.
