External Sales Consultant

Our client, an established manufacturer supplying products and solutions to the mining industry, is looking for a driven External Sales Consultant to join their team and manage key mining accounts across Lydenburg, Steelpoort and Belfort
.

This is a field-based sales opportunity for someone who enjoys being out with customers, identifying new opportunities and building long-term commercial relationships. You'll work closely with mining companies and other industry stakeholders, understanding their requirements and positioning the right solutions to meet their needs.

• Develop new business and grow existing customer accounts across Lydenburg and Steelpoort.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with mining companies, contractors and key decision-makers.
• Conduct regular client visits to understand requirements, identify opportunities and provide solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and sales presentations while managing the sales process through to close.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, forecasts and customer information.
• Monitor market activity and collaborate with internal teams to ensure strong service delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Matric (Grade 12); a relevant Sales, Marketing or Commercial qualification will be advantageous.
• 3–5 years' experience in external sales, preferably within a technical or industrial environment.
• Proven experience in new business development and managing existing customer relationships.
• Mining industry experience and an established network within the mining sector will be highly advantageous.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Valid driver's licence, willingness to travel extensively and a highly energetic, self-motivated approach to sales.
