Our client isa leading foundry and specialises in precision casting and physical metallurgy and is based in Boksburg. They specialise in the production of high-quality metal products for various industries. They are currently seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Technical Sales Representative to join their team.

Job Summary:

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our products to potential clients that require very specialised precision castings.

Your main goal will be to increase sales and establish strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Identify potential clients and develop new business opportunities in the foundry and metallurgy industry
• - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
• - Understand client needs and provide technical solutions and recommendations
• - Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients
• - Prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate contracts
• - Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives
• - Keep up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
• - Provide technical support and assistance to clients when needed
• - Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote our products
• - Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate records of sales activities

Requirements:

• - Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the foundry or metallurgy industry
• - Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or related field is preferred
• - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• - Strong technical knowledge and understanding of metals and metallurgy processes
• - Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships
• - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• - Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events
• - Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
