About the Role

Our client is seeking a dynamic and technically adept Telecoms Sales Engineer to join their team in Klerksdorp . This role serves as a crucial bridge between the sales team and potential clients, providing in-depth technical expertise to support the sales process. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, designing tailored telecommunications solutions, and presenting technical proposals to prospective customers.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of telecom technologies and excels at communicating complex technical information in a clear and persuasive manner, contributing to revenue growth and customer acquisition.

• Partner with the sales team to identify and qualify technical opportunities with prospective clients.
• Conduct technical discovery sessions to thoroughly understand customer needs and challenges within their telecom infrastructure .
• Design and demonstrate customized telecommunications solutions, highlighting technical benefits and value propositions.
• Prepare and deliver compelling technical presentations and proposals to potential customers.
• Provide post-sales technical support and act as a liaison between clients and the product/engineering teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in a Sales Engineering , Pre-Sales, or Technical Consulting role within the telecommunications industry.
• Strong knowledge of networking, VoIP, cloud communications, and related telecom technologies.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed and work effectively in a hybrid environment.
