About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Clinical Data Manager to join their clinical operations team in Benoni . This vital role ensures the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of clinical trial data, which is fundamental to the success of pharmaceutical research and drug development. You will oversee the design and implementation of clinical databases, data validation processes, and data cleaning activities. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of clinical trial methodologies within the pharmaceutical sector .

• Design, build, and manage clinical databases using Electronic Data Capture (EDC) systems.
• Develop and implement data management plans (DMPs) and database specifications.
• Oversee data entry, data cleaning, and query resolution processes to ensure data integrity.
• Develop and execute data validation checks and reports.
• Collaborate with statisticians, programmers, and clinical research associates to ensure timely database lock.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or technical field.
• 3-5 years of experience in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
• Proficiency with EDC systems (e.g., Medidata Rave, Oracle Clinical) and data validation techniques.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial processes and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) .
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
