Hire Resolve is excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Fitter Foreman to join our client’s dynamic team. Our client is seeking a dedicated professional who will be responsible for overseeing the fitting operations, ensuring the fabrication, assembly, and installation of mechanical components and equipment meet stringent quality standards and specifications. Responsibilities
Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment.Supervise a team of fitters and allocate tasks accordingly.Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards and regulations.Inspect and test machines and equipment to diagnose issues and perform necessary repairs.Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and repair reports.Train and mentor junior fitters, providing guidance and support as needed.Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and minimal downtime.Adhere to all health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the team.Requirements
Grade 12 or N3 Certificate.Proven experience as a Fitter Foreman or in a similar role.Trade qualification as a Fitter or in a related field.Strong knowledge of mechanical equipment and systems.Excellent leadership and communication skills.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Valid driver’s license.Benefits
