Letšeng Diamonds is seeking a qualified Plumber to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems and associated equipment across the mine’s facilities. The successful candidate will ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plumbing infrastructure while maintaining compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Comply with all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Conduct pre-task risk assessments before commencing work and ensure the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and tools.
• Follow HSE procedures, obtain required work permits, and liaise with relevant departments when necessary.
• Install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, and sanitation systems.
• Diagnose plumbing faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond promptly to emergency plumbing breakdowns.
• Inspect plumbing systems and recommend repairs or improvements.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, specifications, and maintenance manuals.
• Respond quickly to emergency plumbing leaks and system failures.
• Maintain plumbing tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and serviceable condition.
• Accurately complete maintenance reports, work orders, and job records.

• Relevant Trade Certificate or Trade Test in Plumbing.
• Valid Light Vehicle Driver’s Licence with the ability to operate a manual vehicle.

• Minimum of three (3) years’ relevant plumbing experience in a mining or construction environment.

• Knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and applicable legal requirements.
• Understanding of preventive and corrective maintenance principles.
• Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental protection.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Adaptability and willingness to work under pressure and respond to emergency call-outs.
• Continuous improvement mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.
• Basic computer literacy.
