Sun Plumbing is looking to hire a apprentice plumber in Melbourne, FL.

We are seeking an Apprentice Plumbers to join our team! The selected individual will be responsible for assisting plumber in all aspects of plumbing and water systems for residential, commercial and light industrial projects including waste piping, process piping and complete plumbing and repair services.

• Assist in assembling, installing, maintaining and pressure testing all pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to specifications and plumbing codes.
• Assist in installation of plumbing equipment and fixtures such as sinks, tubs, toilets, water heaters, appliances and trim.
• Install underground sanitary and water piping systems and extend piping to connect fixtures to these systems.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle.
• Ability to learn how to perform all phases of plumbing including piping, 2nd roughs, tub sets and trim.
• Read blueprints and drawings to determine exact specifications and installation locations.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures as well as plumbing code.

• Minimum of 2 yrs. apprentice experience.
• Ability to pass a thorough background check and drug test.
• Ability to handle physical work load
